This policy covers the marketing site for the Insight in Action retreat. When the registration form goes live, an updated version of this policy will describe the additional information collected there.
We collect only what you choose to send us when you get in touch — typically your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your enquiry. The site does not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking (see the Cookie Policy).

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on your consent when you contact us and on our legitimate interest in responding to you and running the retreat. Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), we process your data on the equivalent grounds of your consent and the necessity of the processing for the purposes you contacted us about.
We share your information only with the service providers we need to operate the site and reply to you — currently our hosting provider and email provider. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Your enquiry reaches us in the United Arab Emirates. If you write to us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your data will be transferred outside those regions. Where required by GDPR, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then delete it, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to defend a legal claim.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. The UAE PDPL grants equivalent rights, including access, correction, deletion, and objection. To exercise any right, email insight-in-action@woibd.com. The retreat and this site are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from people under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
